Justice Mike J. Chibita has had a distinguished career in Uganda’s legal and public sectors, serving as a Supreme Court Justice since 2020. Before this, he was Uganda’s Chief Prosecutor for six years and a High Court Judge since 2010. His career also includes roles as a State Attorney, Private Legal Secretary to the President, and Commissioner in the Uganda Revenue Authority.

A graduate of Makerere University, Justice Chibita holds multiple advanced degrees, including an LLM from the University of Iowa and another in Alternative Dispute Resolution from Pepperdine Law School. He is also a notable figure in Christian organizations, serving as President of the Bible Society of Uganda. Author of the autobiography, Loved by the Best: The Journey of One African Judge.
